Neurological disorders after hysterectomy: from pathogenesis to clinical manifestations

Hysterectomy currently occupies one of the leading places among obstetric and gynecological surgeries is highly effective sometimes only method treating various diseases female genital organs. Quite often, however, hysterectomy results not in elimination cause disease, but also development complications that reduce quality life patients. More more attention being paid to neurological complications, which obviously due improved diagnostic capabilities, as well recent research on pathogenesis treatment disorders. Only recently scientists have begun think about true causes most important neurologic hysterectomy, namely chronic postoperative pain. The review describes detail main disorders develop after hysterectomy: pain, traumatic neuroma, residual ovarian syndrome possible mononeuropathies, sexual sleep disorders, decreased cognitive motor functions, lower urinary tract bowel dysfunction. Considerable given mechanisms relationship between surgery emotional disturbances women.
